How to Add Multiple Discount Codes to Tickets in Eventeny

Adding discounts to tickets is very simple; just follow the instructions below to learn how to add a single discount code to a ticket in Eventeny!

Locate your tickets

1. Select the event you would like to work on.
2. Under tickets, select "Tickets".
   
   

Select the ticket you would like to discount

1. Click on "Edit Ticket" on the ticket that you would like to add a discount code to.
   
   

Create Discount Codes

1. Scroll down to the Discounts section.
   
2. Click on ⊕ Create a code.
   
   
   
   
   
3. Select Generate Bulk option from the discount code creation menu.
   
   
   
   
4. Enter the title of the discount code. The title describes what the discount code is for.
   
   
5. Enter how many discount codes you wish to create. There is a maximum of 500 discount codes created at one time.
   
   
6. Enter the length of the code. This will tell the system how long you want your generated discount codes to be. The minimum length is 6 characters.
   
   
7. Select the discount code type. Currently, you may select one of the following discount code types:
   1. Percentage off - This is a standard percentage off of your ticket price. 
   2. Flat off - This is a flat amount discount to the ticket ($5, $10, etc.)
   3. Buy one get one - This discount will give one free ticket for every ticket purchased.
   4. Buy three get one - This discount will give one free ticket for every three tickets purchased.
   5. Buy ten get one - This discount will give one free ticket for every ten tickets purchased.
      
      
      
      
8. Enter the quantity available. This field allows you to set how many times this discount code can be used over the span of the ticket's sale lifespan.
   
   
9. Enter the max allowed per order. This field allows you to set how many times the discount code can be used per individual order.
   
   
   
   
10. Select your time restriction. If you would like this discount code to expire, toggle this selection on and pick the date that you would like your discount to expire.
    
    
    
    
    1. If you are setting a time restriction, make sure to enter the deadline.
       1. All expiration times are in eastern time (GMT -5).
          
          
          
          
11. Click ✓ Save.
