Set Up Dynamic Prices for Recurring Events

Learn how to set up dynamic pricing per recurring event date on Eventeny, allowing vendors to be charged different amounts based on which event dates they select during application.

With the recurring event feature, you can set up fees for items like booths, rentals, and other costs to be charged separately for each event the applicant signs up for. This article assumes that you have already enabled the recurring dates feature for your event and set up your dates.

Setting Up Dynamic Prices Per Date

Log into your account on www.eventeny.com and select the event you wish to manage from the "Organize" tab.

Next, click on the section titled "Artists, Vendors & Exhibitors" and select "Applications" from the drop-down menu.

Locate the application you'd like to edit. Click the "Edit application" button, this will take you to the "Application information" page.

Scroll down to the "Prices" section. To set up pricing, you can either create a new price by clicking the "+ New Price" button or modify an existing one by selecting the "Pencil" icon.

In the pricing modal, use the "Event Series" field to specify which dates the price will apply to.

If the price is classified as a "Fixed Fee," the "Event Series" option will not be available in the pricing modal. This option is only accessible for prices categorized as "Booth or Space," "Rental," or "Other." The same rule applies if the installment plan option is enabled then the "Event Series" option will no longer be available in the pricing modal.

Select the dates the price will apply to and click the "Save" button to finalize the changes.

After clicking "Save," a table displaying your prices will appear. Here, you can edit each date series by adding unique pricing, setting quantity limits, defining maximum quantities allowed, and specifying charge dates for each occurrence in the recurring event. Use the "pencil" icon to make changes to a specific date series or the "trash" icon to delete it if needed.

The applicable dates for each price will be displayed on the corresponding pricing card within your application dashboard under the "Recurring Events" field.

From there, applicants can choose the dates they want to participate in during the application process and the prices that are applicable for the date chosen.
