Enabling Recurring Date Selection on Applications

Learn how to enable recurring event date selection for vendor applications on Eventeny, and how to approve, reject, or waitlist applicants' chosen event dates from the submission list.

ℹ️ Info

This article assumes you've already created your event and set the recurring dates. If you haven’t done that yet, check out this guide to create your event and this guide to set up recurring dates.

Give your artists, vendors, and exhibitors the flexibility to choose one or multiple dates for your recurring event! With the recurring events feature, you can create multiple event dates and allow applicants to select which ones they’d like to attend.

Getting Started

Log into your account on www.eventeny.com and select the event you wish to manage from the "Organize" tab.

The menu on the left lists options like 'Schedule', 'Maps', and 'Applications', with 'Applications' highlighted.

Enabling Date Selection

Locate the application you'd like to edit. Click the "Edit application" button, this will take you to the "Application information" page.

Each card has options like 'Edit application' highlighted at the bottom, along with information about visibility, deadlines, prices, and application status.

Scroll down until you see the "Questions" header. Under the "Questions" header, locate the "Event dates selection" question. To the right, toggle the "Event dates selection" to on. The toggle should turn blue, and a red asterisk should appear next to the question. This indicates that "Event dates selection" is a required question on the application.

ℹ️ Info

We recommend you approve the applicant submission before approving/rejecting date selections to avoid confusion. At the same time, it goes without saying that applicants should be approved as a whole if you plan to approve their date selection(s).

These are the dates the applicant has selected to attend your event. To the right of the date selections, you may notice four options. These options reflect the same meaning for when you approve, reject, waitlist, or withdraw the applicant as a whole. In the same way, you may approve, reject, waitlist, or withdraw the applicant's date selection as well.

Can I Choose Dates for My Artists, Vendors & Exhibitors?

Unfortunately, this is not yet a possibility on Eventeny. Only artists, vendors & exhibitors can make date selections. If you'd like your applicants to make a particular date selection, we suggest notifying them separately or simply withdraw/reject the selection when they apply.

Alternatively, if you want to make a date selection unavailable (no longer visible to the public), you can remove the date from your event page.
