Hardware Eligibility
To be eligible to rent hardware through Eventeny you must be a paid subscriber on an annual plan. Basic and monthly plans are not eligible to rent hardware through Eventeny.
Hardware Deposits
Some hardware rentals require a refundable deposit, which is collected at checkout. The deposit makes sure devices come back ready for the next event. Processing fees charged on the deposit are non-refundable.
Getting Your Deposit Back
Once we receive your returned hardware, we’ll inspect it and refund your deposit, minus any applicable processing fees, as long as everything is in good working condition and all included accessories are returned.
What Affects Your Deposit
We may keep part or all of your deposit if returned hardware has:
Cracked, scratched, or otherwise damaged screens
Water or liquid damage
Missing or damaged accessories, such as chargers, cables, cases, or stands
Physical damage that affects how the device works, such as broken ports, buttons, or housing
Stickers, markings, or modifications that can’t be removed
How much is withheld depends on the repair or replacement cost. If we keep any part of your deposit, we’ll let you know what was found and how the amount was determined.
Normal Wear and Tear
Light, cosmetic wear from regular use, like minor scuffs on a case, won’t count against your deposit.
Rental Length
Your rental covers the dates of the event you’re renting for. All hardware must be returned within 7 days after your event’s final day.
Planning to use the hardware for more than one event? Let us know when you place your rental so we can set the right rental period from the start. Rental terms can’t be changed once hardware ships, since we schedule our inventory to make sure it’s available for other event organizers.
Late Returns
Hardware returned after the 7-day window is subject to a late fee of $10 per device, per day, until it’s returned. If the hardware still hasn’t been returned 10 days after late fees begin, you’ll be charged the full replacement value of each unreturned device.
