Manually Assigning Seats to Tickets

Learn how to assign seats to attendees on Eventeny using three methods: the Tickets List, Seating Map, or Submissions List. Covers issuing tickets, selecting seats, entering attendee info, and choosing a payment method. Available for Pro & Premium plans.

⚠️ Heads up!

This article assumes you've already created tickets and a seating map for your event. If you haven’t done so yet, please review these guides first: How to Create Tickets for Your Event and How to Create a Seat Map for Tickets. Once you’ve completed these steps, continue with the instructions below.

Assign Seats from the Tickets List

From your event dashboard, Click the "Tickets" drop-down arrow on the left-hand side and then select "List".

Locate the ticket(s) you want to issue and confirm that a seat map is connected.

Tickets with a seat map will display a "Select seats" option underneath.

Click the "Select Seats" button to view the seating map. Choose your desired seat and click "Save" to assign it.

The number of seats you can assign will match the number of tickets you're issuing.

Next, enter the applicant’s information manually, or let the details from their application auto-populate if available and select the payment type.

If you choose “card payment method,” you’ll be prompted to enter card details. However, if you select “card payment using terminal,” “cash payment,” or “in-kind,” no card information is required.

Once completed, click the "Issue Tickets" button.

You should receive a green confirmation message once the tickets have been successfully issued.

Navigate back to the ticket list page to confirm that the tickets have been issued. You can also confirm the that correct seat has been assigned from your tickets list.

Assign Tickets from Maps

From your event dashboard, on the left sidebar, select "Maps" under the "Home" tab.

Go to a map with seats and tickets already linked, then click the "Edit Details" button."

Click on a seat without an attendee assigned and select the "Assign" button.

Select the "Assign" button next to the attendee who you are assigning the seat to.

Click the assigned seat to confirm it's correct. You can then unassign it by clicking "Remove," reassign it by clicking "Reassign," or view the attendee's tickets by clicking "View Tickets."

Assign Seats from the Submissions List

ℹ️ Info

The ability to assign seats from the submissions list is available in the Artists, Vendors & Exhibitors, Volunteers, and Other Applications sections. For Sponsors, this feature is accessible through the "Deals" list rather than the submissions list.

Log into your account on www.eventeny.com and select the event you wish to manage from the "Organize" tab.

From the submissions list, navigate to the submission you want to issue a ticket and select "view submission."

Scroll down to the "Tickets" section and select the "Issue Ticket" button.

Once completed, click the "Issue Tickets" button.

Navigate back to the "Submission details" page to confirm that the tickets have been issued. You can also confirm the that correct seat has been assigned from your tickets list.
