Create an Event

Learn how to create a new event on Eventeny, including setting up event details, location, dates, cover photo, and advanced options, plus how to find and manage your events dashboard.

Creating A New Event

Log in to Eventeny with your email and password.

On the home page, select "Create a new event."

​Select “Create a new event from blank template” if this is your first event on Eventeny.

Filling Out Your General Event Information

A pop-up will be presented with a requirement to input the event name, event type, event status, and description. Click "Save and continue" to advance to the next section.

Setting Your Location & Date

Enter the location and date of the event. Click "Save and continue" when you are done.

Uploading Your Cover Photo

To ensure your cover photo displays well across various platforms, use a high-quality image with recommended dimensions of 2000px width by 1250px height. Low-resolution photos may result in a cropped or pixelated appearance.

To upload, click the “Upload cover picture” button, select your desired image from your photo library, and then click “Save and continue” to finalize.

Adding Advanced Options

This section is optional and can be modified later; you may choose to include a personalized URL for your event page, parking instructions, and COVID protocols. When you're ready, simply click "Save and continue."

The page prompts the user to finalize the event creation. It shows an editable link field and sections for entering 'Parking instructions' and 'Health & safety guidelines.' The 'Save and continue' and 'Back' buttons are at the bottom.

When you are finished filling out the basic information for your event, the next window will prompt you to continue to the next steps: creating applications, a schedule and exploring other features.

How To Find & Manage Your Event

Make sure you are logged into Eventeny.

One way to access your event is directly from the home page. At the top, hover over the "Organize" tab and select your event.

The page shows the 'Organize' dropdown menu open, listing options like 'Event mapping,' 'Ticketing / registration,' 'Artist, vendor & exhibitor management,' 'Volunteer management,' 'Sponsor management,' 'Interactive schedules,' and more. The 'See all events' button is at the bottom, and 'Create an Event' is on the right side.

You will be brought directly to your event dashboard where you can manage all aspects of your event by using the left sidebar.

To the right, you will find a list of video tutorials you can take a look at to help you fill out your event as well.

There is another option to access your event that is more useful for when you have created multiple events.

It can be accessed in two ways: the "Organize" tab>"See all events" or directly from your event dashboard by clicking the "Events" icon at the top.

To manage an event, click the blue "Manage" button at the bottom.

As you create more events on Eventeny, some of your older events may not show on this "Upcoming Events" page. If you want to see every event you've ever created, click "All Events" at the top.
