View Your Ticket Analytics

Learn how to navigate Eventeny's ticket analytics dashboard, including summary metrics, finance breakdowns, ticket status tracking, discount usage, and downloadable hourly and cumulative reports.

Access Your Ticket Analytics

To view your ticket analytics, navigate to your dashboard by clicking on the Analytics tab. It is the last option under the Tickets dropdown menu on the left sidebar.

New Analytics Dashboard (Beta)

At the top right of the page, you’ll also see the Preview New Analytics (Beta) button. This allows you to explore Eventeny’s updated analytics experience and preview the new dashboard layout and reporting tools currently in beta.

Summary Tab

At the top of the Analytics page, you’ll see several filtering options, including: Date Range, Status, Select Group, Select Ticket and Select Add-on. These filters allow you to customize the data displayed across all tabs.

The Summary tab provides a high-level overview of your ticket performance. At the top, you’ll see key metrics including:

  • Tickets Issued: Total number of tickets sold and total revenue generated

  • Tickets Upgraded : Number of upgraded tickets and additional revenue earned

  • Tickets Resold: Resold tickets and associated revenue

  • Refunded Active Tickets: Tickets refunded while still active

  • Cancelled or Swapped Tickets: Tickets that were canceled or exchanged

  • Checked In %: Percentage and total number of attendees checked in


Below this, you’ll find visual graphs such as:

  • Ticket Issued by Date: Tracks ticket sales volume over time

  • Ticket Amount Charged by Date: Shows revenue trends over time

You’ll also see an Export Data button in the top right corner, which allows you to download your analytics


The Ticket Distribution Insights section shows where your ticket sales are coming from and how attendees are purchasing tickets. You'll find visual graphs such as:

  • Ticket Issued by State: Displays the top 10 states where ticket buyers are located.

  • Ticket Issued by Order Size: Shows how many tickets were purchased per order, such as 1 ticket, 2 tickets, or group orders.

You can click the legend to show or hide categories on each chart.

The Discount Usage graph shows how discount codes have been used during the selected date range. It tracks:

  • Total amount discounted: the total dollar value of all discounts applied

  • # of discounted tickets: the number of tickets purchased using a discount code

Finance Tab

The Finance tab provides a detailed financial breakdown of your ticket sales by ticket type and group. At the top, you can use filters such as Date Range, Status, Select Group, Select Ticket, and Select Add-on to customize the data shown. You can also use the Export Data button in the top right to download the report.

This tab includes columns for important financial metrics such as:

  • Net Tickets Sold – Total tickets sold after refunds or cancellations

  • Avg. Unit Price – Average price paid per ticket

  • Subtotal – Total ticket sales before fees or taxes

  • Discount – Total discounts applied

  • Additional Fees – Extra fees added by the organizer

  • Sales Tax – Taxes collected on sales

  • Fees Passed to Customers – Fees charged to the buyer at checkout

  • Total Revenue – Total revenue collected

  • Amount Refunded – Total refunded sales

  • Eventeny Fees – Platform fees charged by Eventeny

  • Stripe Fees – Payment processing fees

  • Other Fees – Any additional applicable fees

  • Fees Returned – Refunded fees when applicable

  • Amount Transferred to Your Account – Net payout amount sent to your connected account

  • Cash Collected – Total amount paid in cash

  • Card Collected – Total amount paid by card online or through standard checkout

  • Onsite Card Collected – Total amount paid by card through onsite sales.

Totals are shown at the bottom for a full summary of your event finances.

Status Tab

The Status tab provides a breakdown of ticket activity by ticket type and group. At the top, you can use filters such as Date Range, Status, Select Group, Select Ticket, and Select Add-on to customize the data shown. You can also use the Export Data button in the top right to download the report.

This tab includes columns for:

  • Issued – Total tickets issued

  • Active – Tickets currently active and valid

  • Checked In – Tickets scanned at entry

  • Checked In % – Percentage of issued tickets checked in

  • Discount Used – Tickets purchased using a discount

  • Cancelled/Swapped – Tickets canceled or exchanged

  • Refunded – Tickets refunded

  • Resold – Tickets resold through the platform

  • Upgraded – Tickets upgraded to another ticket type


Totals are shown at the bottom for a full summary.

Reports Tab

The Reports tab provides additional downloadable analytics reports to help you review ticket activity and trends in more detail. At the top, you can use filters such as Date Range, Status, Select Group, Select Ticket, and Select Add-on to customize the data shown.


Available reports include:

Hourly Data

  • Ticket Check-in (By Hour) – Shows how many tickets were checked in each hour.


    When selected, this report opens a bar graph showing ticket check-ins based on the selected date range. You can use the Export Data button in the top right to download the report.

  • Tickets Purchased (By Hour) – Shows how many tickets were purchased each hour.


    When selected, this report opens a bar graph showing when tickets were purchased during the selected date range. You can use the Export Data button in the top right to download the report.

Projections

  • Cumulative Ticket Data – Displays ticket sales trends over time to help track growth.


    When selected, this report opens bar graphs showing cumulative ticket sales and revenue over time.

Other

  • Discount Breakdown – Shows discount code usage and total discounts applied.


    When selected, this report opens a summary table showing discount code usage. You can use the Export Data button in the top right to download the report.
