Custom Questions
1. From the Questions section, click "New Question." Two default questions, Name and Email, are automatically included and required for every ticket, these are hardcoded questions and cannot be edited.
2. Enter your question in the Question field.
3. Select a Question Type (e.g., Multiple Choice) to define what kind of answer you're collecting.
4. Toggle whether an answer is Optional or Required.
5. If your question type requires answer choices (such as Multiple Choice, Checkbox, or Drop Down), enter each choice under Answer Choice. Click "+ New Answer" to add additional choices.
6. Add a Description if you'd like to provide the ticket purchaser with more context about the question.
7. Click "Save" when you're finished.
Copying Answers for Multiple Tickets
Once custom questions are created, a toggle for "Allow customer to copy answers when purchasing multiple tickets" will appear at the top of the Questions section. This setting helps speed up checkout when a customer purchases multiple tickets at once.
When enabled, purchasers can copy the answers from one ticket and apply them to the other tickets in their order, rather than filling out the same questions repeatedly. Turning this off removes that option from the purchaser's checkout, requiring them to answer the questions individually for each ticket.
Creating Conditional (Follow-Up) Questions
You can set up conditional logic so that a follow-up question only appears based on how a purchaser answers a previous question.
1. To create conditional questions, you will need to first select an Answer Type of "Multiple Choice," "Checkbox," or "Drop Down", this question will serve as the parent question. Enter your answer choices, decide whether the question is optional or required, enter a description, and click the "Save" button.
2. Next, create another question that will serve as the child question to the parent question above. Click the "New Question" button again, select the answer type, and fill in the answer choices as normal.
3. To make the child question conditional on the parent question, toggle the "Show Question Only If An Answer Is Selected" option. Select the question and answer that must be completed before the conditional (child) question appears. Click the "Save" button when done.
7. Once saved, the conditional question will display as a sub-question in the "Questions" section of your application dashboard.
8. During the ticket checkout process, applicants selecting the specified answer to the parent question will trigger the additional (child) question to appear.
Adding Additional Fees
1. Click "Manage Additional Fees" to add a custom fee to your tickets. From here, you can view a list of existing fees, showing the fee name, which tickets it applies to, its type, status, and amount.
