ℹ️ Info: Ticket Pairing allows you to require attendees to purchase specific tickets before another ticket becomes available for purchase. This is useful for add-ons, upgrades, or optional items that should only be available alongside an admission ticket.
This helps ensure attendees purchase tickets in the correct order and prevents add-on tickets from being purchased on their own.
For example, you may want a Gift Bag ticket to only be available when an attendee also purchases an Admission Ticket or Early Admission Ticket.
Enable Ticket Pairing
⚠️ Heads Up: If you haven't created tickets yet, see Creating Tickets for your Event to get started.
1. Navigate to your event and select Tickets from the left menu.
2. Click Edit Ticket for the ticket you want to require another ticket for.
3. Click the Pencil icon in the upper-right corner to edit the ticket.
4. Scroll down to the Ticket Pairing section.
5. From the Ticket Pairing dropdown, select Another ticket must be paired with this ticket.
6. A new section titled Ticket Pairing Options will appear. Select each ticket that qualifies as a required ticket. Buyers only need to purchase one of the selected ticket types.
7. Click Save in the upper-right corner.
What Attendees See
The attendee will see the paired ticket listed, but it can't be selected until one of the required tickets has been added to the cart.
Once one of the required tickets is added to their cart, they'll be able to purchase the Gift Bag. If the required ticket is not in their cart, they'll see a notice explaining which ticket(s) must be selected first.
