How to Apply for evCover and Upload Your Proof of Insurance

What is evCover? 

evCover is an easy-to-use insurance solution that allows vendors to quickly purchase the necessary coverage for events directly through the platform. Instead of dealing with third-party insurance companies and managing separate communications with event organizers, evCover streamlines the process. Vendors can either purchase a policy through evCover or upload their own insurance, making it simple to meet event insurance requirements and stay compliant—all from one place.

Applying for evCover

1. After submitting your application, if proof of insurance is required by the event organizer, you will receive a notification. This message will inform you that a certificate of insurance is needed and will list any additional insured party information required for the policy.
   
   
   
   
2. You have the option to apply for a policy directly on the platform with our insurance partner, Vertical Insurance, or to manually upload your proof of insurance. 
   
   
   
   
3. To apply for insurance directly on the platform, select the "Start now" button and you will be asked a series of qualifying questions to determine your eligibility. Click on "view quote when you are done answering the questions. 
   
   
   
   
4. If you are eligible, you will receive an instant quote and will be required to submit payment information to finalize the application. 
   
   
   
   
5. If you are not approved, you will receive the following message and will have the option to reach out to our insurance partner directly for a custom quote. 
   
   
   
   
6. Once payment is submitted, if approved for a quote, then you will be redirected to your submission page and will need to wait a few minutes for the policy to be finalized. 
   
   
   
   
7. As soon as the policy is finalized, the certificate of insurance will be uploaded to your application and the event organizer will be notified, immediately. 
   

   
   
   

    

Manually Upload Insurance

1. Some events are not eligible to use evCover and in those cases, after submission, you will not have the option to apply for evCover but will be required to source your own insurance policy and manually upload it to your application. When you are ready to upload your insurance, click on the "Manually upload insurance" button to get started.
   
   
    
2. Choose the files to upload and select "Upload Document". 
   
   
   
   
3. The proof of insurance will be under review until it is approved by the event organizer. If you need to replace the insurance before it is approved, use the "Replace insurance" button. 
   
   
   
4. Once it is approved the status will be updated to "Approved" and you will be unable to replace the insurance if needed unless you contact the event organizer directly.

4. What should I do if I don’t qualify for evCover?
   If you don’t qualify for evCover based on the event’s requirements, you can still manually upload your own insurance. Alternatively, you can reach out to our partner, Vertical Insurance, for a direct quote.
   
   

5. What if I haven’t received a decision on my evCover application yet?
   If you have applied for evCover but haven't received a decision yet, contact Eventeny customer support. Be sure to provide your policy number, which can be found on your submission confirmation page, so that support can assist you.
