Access Check-In Settings
1. Open the mobile app and log in. From the Events screen, select the event you want to manage.
2. Tap More in the bottom navigation menu.
3. Scroll to the Check in section.
4. These settings control how tickets are scanned and which tickets can be checked in on your device:
Offline Check-In
Lets you check in tickets without an internet connection. Toggle this on or off from this menu. (For more detail on how offline check-in works, see Check In Tickets While Offline.)
Auto Check-In
Displays an "Auto check-in" toggle on the QR scan screen. When enabled, tickets are automatically checked in as soon as they're scanned; when disabled, you'll need to manually confirm each check-in.
Check-In Restrictions
Tap into this to control which ticket types can be checked in on your device, and to manage additional check-in security and override settings. At the top of this screen, you'll also find a search icon to look up specific ticket names, and a filter button to help narrow down the ticket list.
Security PIN: Set a universal PIN required to access protected check-in settings. Tap Create PIN to set one up.
Allow different-day ticket check-in override: When enabled, this lets staff override warnings and check in tickets that are for a different day or outside their check-in window.
Check in ticket types: Choose Allow All Tickets, or select specific ticket types individually to control which ones can be checked in on this device.
Check-In Tickets
1. Tap Check in from the bottom navigation bar. This will open the scanner screen.
2. Hold your device over the attendee’s QR code. Align the code within the scanner frame. The app will automatically detect the ticket.
⚠️ Heads Up: If a ticket is scanned for the wrong day, you'll see a pop-up warning: "Ticket is for a different day." This message lets you know the date the ticket is actually valid for, compared to today's event date, so you can confirm before proceeding. Tap OK to dismiss the warning. If Allow different-day ticket check-in override is turned on in your Check-In Restrictions settings, staff will be able to override this warning and check the ticket in anyway; otherwise, the check-in will be blocked.
3. Once scanned, you’ll see the ticket type (e.g., Family Weekend Pass), the attendee’s name, and the ticket status. Tap Check in (if auto check-in is not enabled).
4. A confirmation message will appear: “Checked in ticket”. The ticket status will update to Checked in.
Scan Badges
1. If your event is using badges, tap Scan badge after check-in.
2. Scan the badge QR code. You’ll see a confirmation: “Badge assigned successfully”.
Viewing Check-In Details
1. After check-in, you can tap into a ticket to view: check-in time and date, confirmation number, attendee information, badge assignment and more.
2. Tap the order details arrow to expand the full order view.
3. You’ll have options to switch or upgrade your ticket or request a refund/cancelation. You can also undo the check in under the Tickets section.
4. You can also tap the three-dot menu in the top right to access more actions, such as emailing the ticket confirmation or printing the ticket.
