Request a Refund for an Event Application

Learn how to request a refund for a vendor or volunteer application on Eventeny by contacting the event organizer, and what to do if the organizer is unresponsive.

ℹ️ Info: Refunds are processed based on the refund policy of the event organizer. If the policy states that the application is non-refundable, a refund is granted at the sole discretion of the event organizer. As Eventeny is a self-service platform for event organizers, we do not have the permissions to perform refunds on their behalf. Therefore, our customer support team will be unable to process a refund for you.

Contact the Event Organizer

Login to your eventeny.com account and hover over the "Participate" tab. Select the "Your Applications" option.

Click on the "Contact Organizer" button next to the event you are seeking a refund for.

When requesting a refund, please provide detailed information regarding any extenuating circumstances. Maintain a polite tone in your communication, and be patient as event organizers can be very busy or may have a small team. We recommend allowing 3-4 days to receive a response from the event organizer on our platform before reaching out again.

No Response from the Event Organizer

If you haven't received a response from the event organizer within 3-4 days of reaching out on our platform, we recommend finding their direct contact information on their website, such as a phone number or email, for a quicker response. Contact information can usually be found on a "Contact Us" or "About Us" page.

Waitlist Decisions

If your vendor application has been placed on a waitlist, it is important to understand that this decision is made by the event organizer based on their acceptance criteria and internal capacity settings. The number of spaces displayed on the event page may not always reflect the organizer’s current acceptance status. To clarify why you were waitlisted or to inquire about potential openings, contact the event organizer directly through your Eventeny account.

Handling Unexpected Refunds

If you receive an unexpected refund for an event hosted on Eventeny, it is important to note that refunds and order changes are managed directly by the event organizer.

Possible reasons for receiving a refund include:

  • The event organizer canceling the event

  • Changes to event details

  • A refund processed by the organizer for other reasons

To understand why you received the refund, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Eventeny account.

  2. Navigate to the event page associated with the refund.

  3. Use the organizer contact option available on the event page.

  4. Send a message to the organizer explaining your query. Eventeny support cannot provide specific details about refunds, as only the event organizer has access to this information.

Special Circumstances

If an event organizer is unresponsive after you have tried all steps to contact them (including reaching out on the Eventeny platform and contacting them directly through their website), please reach out to our customer support team and we will explore further options to assist you.
