Manage Your Email Settings

Learn how to preview the automated emails Eventeny sends and choose which ones you and your vendors, attendees, volunteers, and sponsors receive.

What Are Email Settings?

Eventeny automatically sends emails to you and your audience, such as application updates, ticket confirmations, payment notifications, and reminders. From Email settings, you can:

  • See every automated email in one place, organized by type.

  • Preview each email to see the subject line and exactly what it looks like.

  • Turn emails on or off for yourself and your audience, one at a time or by group.

Find Your Email Settings

1. Log in to your Eventeny account and go to your My Events dashboard by hovering over the Organize button and selecting See all events.

2. On the left sidebar, click Email settings.

3. Your emails are organized into two sections:

  • Your notifications: Emails sent to you and your team. Click Admin notifications to see them, grouped into Administrative, Artist/vendor/exhibitor-related, Ticket-related, Volunteer-related, Sponsor-related, Other application-related, and Marketing notifications.

  • External communications: Emails sent to your audience, grouped into Artist, vendor, and exhibitor communications; Ticket and attendee communications; Volunteer communications; Sponsor communications; and Other application communications.

4. Click any group to expand it and see the individual emails inside. You can also use the Search for notifications bar at the top to find a specific email.

Preview an Email

Next to each email, click Preview to see the email's subject line and exactly what it looks like when it's sent.

Turn Emails On or Off

Find the email you'd like to manage. Use the toggle next to the email to turn it On or Off.

To turn a whole group of emails on or off at once, use the toggle next to the group's name. Each group shows its current status:

  • All on: Every email in the group is turned on.

  • Mixed: Some emails in the group are on and some are off.

  • All off: Every email in the group is turned off.

Things to Know

  • Some emails can't be turned off. Emails that include financial or payment information, such as invoices, payment charges, refunds, and contract signature requests, are marked Always on and will always be sent.

  • Turning off an external email stops it for everyone it applies to. For example, if you turn off "Application waitlisted" under Artist, vendor, and exhibitor communications, none of your applicants will receive that email. You can turn it back on at any time.

ℹ️ Info: If you'd like to send your own message to a group of attendees, vendors, or volunteers, you can also use Group Messages.
