Setting Up a Stripe Express Account

1. If you are using terminals to sell tickets or merchandise at your event, you will need to create and link a Stripe Express account.
   
   
    

   If you do not create and link a Stripe Express account, any payments taken via the terminal connected to your event will go through the check payout process.
   1. Make sure to reach out to your Community Engagement Specialist or reach out to support via our contact us form to enable this setting on your account.
      
      
   2. Once the setting is enabled, the owner of the company account should go to the payments and payouts page and click "+ Payout Method". This will take you to the Stripe Express creation workflow. Follow the direction and once complete, your new Stripe Express account should be linked. 
      
      
      
      
2. Select the "Express" option and click on the "+ Payout Method" button.
   
   
3. You will then be redirected to create new account with Stripe or connect an existing account. Follow the prompts accordingly. 
   
   
   
   
4. Once the account is linked you will see the new Stripe account in your Payout Methods.
