Setting Up a Stripe Express Account
- If you are using terminals to sell tickets or merchandise at your event, you will need to create and link a Stripe Express account.
If you do not create and link a Stripe Express account, any payments taken via the terminal connected to your event will go through the check payout process.- Make sure to reach out to your Community Engagement Specialist or reach out to support via our contact us form to enable this setting on your account.
- Once the setting is enabled, the owner of the company account should go to the payments and payouts page and click "+ Payout Method". This will take you to the Stripe Express creation workflow. Follow the direction and once complete, your new Stripe Express account should be linked.
- Make sure to reach out to your Community Engagement Specialist or reach out to support via our contact us form to enable this setting on your account.
- Select the "Express" option and click on the "+ Payout Method" button.
- You will then be redirected to create new account with Stripe or connect an existing account. Follow the prompts accordingly.
- Once the account is linked you will see the new Stripe account in your Payout Methods.
