If you are an event organizer on Eventeny, chances are you have noticed this modal on the "My Events" page.

This article will detail on the reasoning behind this modal and how getting verified on Eventeny can benefit you!

The verification process allows event organizers to establish credibility on Eventeny when presented to attendees, vendors, sponsors and even other event organizers!

We use Stripe's (our third party payment processing system) identity verification system to keep your data confidential by protecting data transfers and implementing access control. With that said, Eventeny will not have access to your ID document or photos. In other words, verifying your identity is completely safe and secure!

When you get verified, a blue checkmark will appear on your business page, similar to some social media platforms.

Better yet, if you choose to get verified, your event(s) will get ranked higher on Eventeny!

We are asking for verification as part of the "Know Your Client" compliance laws set by the FTC, PATRIOT Act, and Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) Act 2006. So, it is required to ask for this information.

Please note that if we are unable to verify an account, payouts may be suspended until verification is made.

If you're an event organizer on Eventeny, there's a chance you've noticed this "verify your identity" modal.

Make sure you are logged into Eventeny.

Navigate to your "My Events" page located at the top of the homepage.

If you aren't yet verified on Eventeny, the verificaiton modal will automatically appear on the "My Events" page.

Go ahead and click the blue "Verify Identity" button.

The modal will then take you through just a few prompts that may require you to upload a photo of yourself and a form of identification.

If the verification is successful, a confirmation message will appear, and the modal will no longer pop-up.
