Why Some Emails Include a Preview
When someone sends you a message on Eventeny, you’ll get an email notification letting you know. Whether that email includes a preview of the message text depends on who sent it:
Messages from paid event organizers: If the message was sent by the owner or a team member of a business on a paid plan, your email notification will include a preview of the message, so you can quickly read it right from your email.
All other messages: If the message was sent by a business on the free plan, or by an account that isn’t connected to a business (like a vendor, volunteer, or ticket buyer), your email notification will let you know you have a new message, but it won’t include the message text.
This helps protect our community from spam and scams by making sure message text only appears in emails from verified, paid event organizers.
How to Read Your Messages
No matter who sent the message, you can always read the full conversation on Eventeny:
Log in to your account at www.eventeny.com.
Click Messages in the navigation bar.
Select the conversation from your messages list to open it.
ℹ️ Info: Don’t see a new message right away? Your inbox may not refresh on its own if the page or app was already open. Refresh the page, or switch to another tab and back to Messages. On the mobile app, you can also close the app completely and reopen it.
